Freekeh և grilled chicken dishes

Freekeh, the green wheat with the grains fried, is perfect for cooking. Its delicate taste is reminiscent of hazelnuts. A real pleasure with marinated chicken.


  • 250 ml (1 cup) freckles (see Note)

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) + 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 1/2 years lemon juice

  • 1 C. paprika

  • 1 C. cumin

  • 1 C. salt

  • 1/4 year cinnamon

  • 1/4 year crushed chili

  • 8 chicken thighs without bones, without skin

  • 2 ch.c. tahini

  • 4 ch.c. water

  • 2 cups (500 ml) Roman carrots, chopped

  • 250 ml (1 cup) grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes, cut in half

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) red onion, finely chopped

  • humus, (optional)

  • pomegranate seeds (optional)

  • Mint holders (optional)


LET THE RACK IN THE CENTER OF GLORY AND HEAT TO 230 ° C (450 ° F). Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.

  1. Cook the fries according to the package instructions until soft. Squeeze and hold.
  2. At the same time, mix 60 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil with garlic in a large bowl, 2 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice, paprika, cumin, salt, cinnamon և crushed chili. Store half of this vinaigrette in a small bowl. Add the chicken to a large bowl and coat with the remaining sauce. Let stand for 15 minutes.
  3. Squeeze the chicken pieces (discard the marinade) and place on a baking sheet. Bake until chicken is cooked through, about 20 minutes. Cut into thin strips and set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, add the tahini for 1 year. lemon juice, 1 tbsp. olive oil և water until: smooth. To order.
  5. Divide the fries in 4 bowls, then the chicken pieces, Roman carrot, half a tomato and red onion pieces. If desired, decorate each dish with humus, pomegranate seeds and mint. Serve with sauce ահ tahini mixture.
